Description: NSW Road is a feature class within the NSW Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB). It represents an open way for the passage of vehicles, persons or animals on land. It shows Dedicated Public Roads which represent an open way for the passage of vehicles, persons or animals on land. The road dataset includes Public Roads in Use. Each road type has a section number, plan number, plan label, ITS title status, road type, road width or Crown/Council Width, lot number, and stratum label. If any changes occur in a road feature, it should have a reference in the authority of reference feature class of the DCDB. The attributes ‘create date’ and ‘modified date’ provide information on the features’ temporal position and accuracy. There is no overall accuracy reported in the database. This class forms a part of the “Fabric” Theme. For more information and definitions of each theme, feature class, feature instance and their attributes please refer to the Land and Property Information’s DCDB Data Dictionary. This dataset is available for download through the clip & Ship application in LPI’s Online Shop. The download link is provided in the distribution section of this metadata statement. Some of the production related attributes have been removed from this dataset so as to simplify the data schema and improve data delivery performance. Based on the area of interest this feature class may or may not be present.
